EDGE is a 2023 65′7″ Van der Valk built in the Netherlands for owners who want the speed and handling of a performance boat with the space and comfort of a motor yacht. Built with an all-aluminum hull and superstructure, she pairs Studio Delta’s Architects’ naval architecture with Cor D. Rover’s exterior styling and Carla Guilhem Design’s contemporary interiors. Her 15′7″ beam gives her a substantial presence, while her 3-foot draft opens up access to shallow-water cruising grounds.
Performance is central to EDGE with four 2023 Mercury V12 Verado 600 HP outboard engines, each with approximately 420 hours producing 2,400 total horsepower. She cruises at 27 knots and reaches a max speed of 40 knots. Her Petestep hull system is designed to reduce drag and enhance lift, and joystick control makes maneuvering and docking more manageable. Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilization adds comfort underway and at anchor. With a range of 215 nautical miles and CE Class B Coastal classification, EDGE is configured for days exploring the waters of South Florida and the Bahamas.
Inside, EDGE offers a well-appointed three-cabin arrangement. She accommodates six guests, with an owner’s suite featuring a double berth and two guest cabins with twin berths, along with two guest heads. Expansive windows, warm wood tones, neutral finishes and integrated lighting give the interior a bright, contemporary feel. The main salon is arranged for relaxed time aboard, with seating and dining areas that connect directly with the aft deck and make it easy to move between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Outside, EDGE’s spacious aft deck is set up for entertaining, with fold-down water-level terraces that expand the cockpit while at anchor. The space is perfect for alfresco dining and cocktails, with easy access to the water and underwater lighting adding atmosphere after dark.
